“We need you to take one for the team…”

Former President Bill Clinton went to Florida and tried to get a Dem candidate to quit a race…

Former President Bill Clinton last week almost succeeded in persuading Kendrick B. Meek, the Democratic nominee for the Senate in Florida, to drop out of the three-way race — but Mr. Meek changed his mind at the last minute, a spokesman for Mr. Clinton said Thursday evening.

If you were Kendrick Meek, what would YOU do?

It depends on who one considers the team. If he believes in what the Democratic party is doing then why would he drop out. To me, and only me, this would say i am dropping out because I believe in Cristi and do not want the Republicans to succeed at all costs. However, if Cristi has Dem values it makes perfect sense. I liken it toremoving the starting pitcher and bringing in the reliever.

    Cool my first idiotic analogy

I would tell Clinton to go back home and get his butt back in the kitchen and fix Hillary a sandwich. Why should he quit? Is the Dems secretly lusting after Crist to lure him into the party? Hypocrites! Maybe if they showed stronger support for the brother his chances to win would be greater.
